County Building_2Requests to replace personnel tops the agenda of the Marshall County Council meeting on Monday.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department will seek approval to replace two turnkey/dispatchers, congratulate Gene Painton on his retirement from the department and present the commissary report.

Marshall County Clerk, Debbie VanDeMark is seeking a personnel replacement and so is Prosecutor Nelson Chipman.

Also on the agenda is Jerry Chavez, Executive Director of the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation.  He will update the council on his activity and will present a formal request for a Tax Abatement.

Laurie Baker from the County Highway Department is scheduled appear before the council and councilmember and member of the Personnel Committee, Judy Stone will recommend an ordinance amending the County Handbook Policy.

The County Council meeting begins at 9 a.m. on Monday in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.  The public is welcome.
