County Building_2The Marshall County Commissions have a full agenda for their meeting Monday.  At 9:30 they start things off with a bid opening for the Fleet Leasing and Management Program immediately followed by a report by the County Highway Department.

Joe Egenlauf from Lake of the Woods will discuss the Safety Obstruction and Prosecutor Nelson Chipman will request approval of an equipment purchase.  Also on the agenda is a discussion with Bruce Smith from Teegarder who wants to talk about the destruction of Redwood Road and County Building Inspector Chuck DeWitt will present an ordinance for 2015.

The Marshall County Commissioners will be asked by County EMA Director Clyde Avery for a resolution to appointment him as an authorized agent for Indiana Department of Homeland Security, DLZ will give an update on the Hickory Road Bridge replacement project and Wes Burden from the County Health Department is also listed.

The Commissioner’s meeting is held in the second floor meeting room of the County Building and is open to the public and comments and questions are welcome.

Prior to the Commissioner’s meeting the County Drainage Board will meet starting at 8:30 in the second floor meeting room of the County Building. Their agenda includes opening maintenance bids for the Marvin Arm of the Newcomb Eisenhour Ditch, acceptance of a petition for the Leonard Wilson Ditch in Union Township, update on the Davenport Tile Drain in North Township and the Meister Tile Arm to the Bowser Ditch in German Township.

The public is encouraged to attend both county meetings.
