Election BoardMarshall County Clerk Deb VanDeMark and Voter Registration Deputy Donna Pontius presented the 2015 municipal primary candidates report to members of the County Election Board Tuesday morning.

Both parties, the republicans and democrats will have primaries this May in Plymouth.

The democrats have two candidates for mayor, Rex Crump and Anthony “Tony” Gamble while the republicans have four running for the three at-large seats, Christopher Berdahl, Burke Richeson, Bill Walters and incumbent Mike Delp.

Other candidates on the republican tickets in Plymouth include Mark Senter for Mayor, Jeanine Xaver for Clerk Treasurer, Duane Culp for City Council in District 1, Don Ecker Jr. for City Council in District 2, Wayne Smith in District 3 and Shawn Grobe in district 4.

Democratic candidates include Shiloh Fonseca for City Council district 3, Gary Cook for an at-large seat, Jeffery Houin for an at-large seat and Josh Walker for an at-large seat.

The Bremen municipal election will have a primary for the republicans because there are six running for four seats, Bill Daily, Rick Graverson, James Leeper, Michael Leman, Heath Thorton and Mike Venable.

The only other candidate on the Bremen republican ticket is Janet Anglemyer for Clerk-Treasurer.

The candidates have been set and the clerk’s office can begin to build the official primary ballots.   Absentee voting will being on April 7th.
