A traffic stop early Sunday morning lead to the arrest of a Plymouth woman.
Deputy Bragg initiated a traffic stop on 9A Road near the intersection with US 31 about 1:30 Sunday morning. During the course of the investigation it was determined that the driver, 21 year old Krystal S. Hardy of Plymouth was intoxicated. Hardy was arrested and lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangering a Person and Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated with a BAC of 0.08 or more.
Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
