On Monday, April 27th the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was contacted about 10:30 p.m. by a resident in the 7,000 block of 11A Road in reference to one of their show goats being killed.
During the investigation Officer Jordan Rans learned that an unknown subject or subjects entered the pen where the goats were kept. Once inside, they stabbed the goat at least two times, causing it to die.
It was also discovered that there was a red 16’ gate stolen from the property along with several 16’ 2 X 4 pieces of lumber.
