CrashInvestigation_2A Culver man was seriously injured in a two vehicle crash on State Road 10 and Linden Road Monday night at 9:38.

43 year old James M. Shay III was traveling west bound on State Road 10 on a 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle when a east bound 2006 Pontiac G6 driven by 67 year old Thomas Crosby of Cassopolis pulled across the lane to make a turn.

Shay was ejected from his motorcycle and sustained serious injuries.  He was transported to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth because the helicopters couldn’t fly due to the weather.   He was later transported to Memorial Hospital in South Bend by ambulance.

Crosby and a passenger in his vehicle sustained minor injuries.

County Officer Joe Giordano was assisted at the scene by Argos Police, Fire and EMS.
