Amy and Alex Eads are high school sweethearts and were married December 5th. They have lived in Plymouth their entire life and are excited to be dancing in the 8th Annual Dancing With The Stars fundraiser for the Marshall County Neighborhood Center.
Amy attended Ball State University for her undergraduate degree and Purdue University for her graduate degree. Alex attended Purdue University for his undergraduate degree. Amy works at Memorial Children’s Hospital in South Bend while Alex works at Agdia, Inc in Elkhart. Both Amy and Alex are involved in their church, Plymouth Wesleyan Church.
Amateur dancers, Alex and Amy have very little dance experience. After attending last year’s event, they were blown away by the support of the community to help the Neighborhood Center and became interested in being part of the next event on Saturday, February 6th at the Swan Lake Resort.
Leanne Senter is their instructor. She’s been dancing since the age of 3. Originally from Marshall, Illinois, Senter moved to Knox in 1985 as the Aquatics Director.
With a degree in Physical Education from Indiana State University she taught and coached swimming and high school P.E. for nine years. Leann opened Senter Stage Dance Studio in Plymouth and it’s in its fifteenth year. She is also the head coach of the Plymouth Community Swim Club Sharks and the diving coach for the High School Swim Teams, as well as a Mary Kay Consultant.
