DSC05177SOUTH BEND, IN – South Bend Washington NIC (Northern Indiana Conference) Honorable Mention player Antoinette Dashner recently signed her National Letter of Intent to join the Ancilla Lady Charger Volleyball Program.

Dashner, who led her team in digs with 236 this past season, is excited to embark on her new journey at Ancilla. She stated “Ancilla was a good choice for me because of the home town feel. I like that it is small, close to home, and I get to continue my volleyball career.” Dashner plans to study Exercise Science.

Washington High School Volleyball Coach Susan Rathwick commented, “Antoinette is a dedicated and disciplined athlete who is always ready to give her best.” While at South Bend Washington, Dashner not only was named Honorable Mention All-Conference in the NIC, she was also a Captain of her team, a member of National Honor Society, and a member of the Medical Magnet Program.  Dashner will graduate with an Academic Honors Diploma. She is the daughter of Paul and Beth Dashner.

Ancilla Head Coach Lana Singleton is equally excited about the new addition to her program, “Antoinette is an upbeat young lady with a bubbly personality.  She is a good student and willing to work hard to get better, I am excited to have her join our program and I look forward to working with her.”
