Just before 10 p.m. Tuesday night the National Weather Service issued a Dense Fog Advisory. The advisory will be in effect until 10 a.m. Wednesday. Area counties involved include Marshall, Fulton, Starke, Saint Joseph, Kosciusko, and LaPorte.
It is anticipated that the dense fog will persist through the morning commute time causing hazardous driving conditions.
The fog could reduce visibility to less than one quarter mile.
Drivers are encouraged to slow down, turn on your headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
