On Monday the Marshall County Drainage Board awarded Kolesiak Construction the bid for a maintenance project on the Marvin Arm of the Newcomb Eisenhour Ditch from Oak Drive northwest to US 30.
The project will debrush and clean approximately 2800 feet of the ditch by cutting trees and treating the stumps, removing brush and chipping it and the spreading it on the right-of-way.
Four companies presented quotes for the project; LDP Excavating at $8,400, Hunter Transit at $4,172, Langfeldt Excavating at $3,660 and Kolesiak Construction the low quote of $2,170.
Completion date for the project is November 13th of this year.
