County News_logoThe Marshall County Drainage Board will hold their first meeting of the new year at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. Their meetings are held in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.

Agenda items include opening maintenance bids for the Metheny Ditch, Lehman Arm to the Stock-Heston Ditch and the Stock-Heston Ditch.

A public hearing to vacate the Alva Poter Tile in Culver and Union Township is scheduled for 8:45.

Loves Truck Stop on the north side of US 30 and west of Pioneer Drive in Plymouth will seek permission to relocate legal drains, Schuh-Longaker Drain and Newcomb Eisenhour.

Under miscellaneous business the drainage board will discuss the maintenance assessment for the Elmer Seltenright Ditch and sign the December maintenance contracts.

The meeting is open to the public for comments and questions.
