At approximately 5:18 pm Monday the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department received several 911 calls concerning a head on collision US 31 and SR 110.
When emergency personnel arrived it was discovered two vehicles were involved in the crash, a 2006 Ford Ranger pickup truck driven by William Koelm, 63, of Rochester, and a 1996 Buick passenger car driven by Patrick Devine, 52 of Peru. It was determined by investigators that Koelm who was west bound on SR 110 pulled into the path of the vehicle driven by Devine who was north bound US 31.
Both Koelm and Devine were transported to Woodlawn Hospital in Rochester by Argos EMS with minor injuries.
Koelm was cited for expired license and no financial responsibility.
