Monday evening County Police Officer Andrew Wozniak arrested an Elkhart man for unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon.
At approximately 7:14 PM, Monday, July 27th a traffic stop was conducted on US 31 near 11th Road. The driver of the vehicle, 27 year old Albert C. Johnson was found to be driving on a suspended driver`s license. During the investigation a handgun style firearm was located inside the vehicle.
Albert Johnson is a convicted felon and was in possession of the firearm at the time of the incident. He was booked into the Marshall County Jail and processed with a charge of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Serious Violent Felon, a level 4 felony. He is was held
