indiana_main_streetIndiana Main Street encourages the revitalization and restoration of downtown areas in Indiana cities and towns.  The program provides technical assistance and educational opportunities to participating communities.

Indiana Main Street offers Community Exchange events that partner Main Street organizations across the State.  The purpose of the Community Exchange is to allow Indiana Main Street communities and others to network and learn from one another.  The exchanges give communities an opportunity to discuss issues facing their community, ways others have resolved some of those issues, and innovative ways Main Street communities are facing the needs of their organization, community, and downtown.

Experience Lakeville will host a Community Exchange on April 29th at Joshua Tree Museum and Imports at 106 South Michigan Street in Lakeville.  The daylong event has several session including: Preparing for Special Events in Your Town, Main Street Event Tips and Ideas, Brand vs Slogan-What You Need to Know, Working with your Visitors Bureau and Experience Lakeville-Partnerships for Success.
