Starke County Sheriff DeptStarke County Sheriff Bill Dulin released his February Statistics report this week.

Officers with the Starke County Sheriff’s Department handled 547 incident reports, investigated 59 accident reports, served 202 civil papers and responded to 16 commercial and residential alarms.

The Starke County’s K-9, Terror was called for service 8 times.  The K-9 division made 4 arrests of suspects, had 2 assists, 8 felony charges was the result of the K-9 division and 1 misdemeanor charge.

There were 73 inmate jail bookings in the Starke County Jail in February and inmate transports totaled 538 miles traveled and 15.75 man hours were used to transport inmates.  Jail Officers spent 33.5 hours escorting inmates to court.
