The Plymouth Fire Department responded to a fire early Tuesday morning at the former Divine Heart Seminary on Union Road.
A call came into the Marshall County Dispatch Center shortly after 1 a.m. and as Plymouth firefighters arrived on scene flames were through the roof on one of the smaller buildings.
The basically abandon property doesn’t have utilities and fire officials have not yet determined the cause of the fire.
The building use to house a couple of gymnasiums and offices although one of the gyms had already been demolished.
Firefighters were on the scene for more than 4 hours.
