Fire_306 NorthPlum_1Sunday afternoon just after 5 the Plymouth Fire Department was dispatched to 304 & 306 North Plum Street for a fire in the wall.

FIre_306 NorthPlum_3When firefighters arrived on the scene they found smoke coming from the eves of the two-story home.  Everyone had evacuated to two duplexes.

FIre_306 NorthPlum_2Plymouth volunteer firemen took a line into the residence and located the fire which had climbed up inside the wall to the attic.   After approximately 30 minutes the fire was extinguished

FIre_306 NorthPlum_4Fire crews used fans for cross ventilation to rid the residences of smoke.  They were on the scene for about a hour and no injuries were reported.

FIre_306 NorthPlum_5Plymouth Fire Investigator John Pasley investigated the cause of the fire and found it to be undetermined.  He was unable to locate a point of ignition.

FIre_306 NorthPlum_6There was minor structural damage estimated to be about $5,000 and about $2,000 in damage to the contents of the residences.
