The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a Flood Watch for our area tonight and into Thursday morning.
There is the potential for widespread rainfall of 1 to 2 inches tonight into Thursday morning across the area. This amount of rainfall on top of already very wet ground will likely create sufficient runoff to cause flooding of roads, small streams, creeks, basements and other low lying areas.
A Flood Watch indicates the potential for flooding based on current forecasts. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop and continue to monitor forecasts for updated information.
