On Saturday, January 17, the Plymouth Freshmen Boys basketball team traveled to CMA to compete in a four team tournament. In the morning game Plymouth battled Tippecanoe Valley. Brady Holiday and Payton Skirvin led the scoring charge for the Pilgrims with 13 a piece as Plymouth won 46-26.

After CMA defeated Triton in overtime, the two victors met for the championship game. In a defensive battle, the Pilgrims came away with a 27-14 win as point guard Benjamin Nixon scored 10 points and had 4 steals for Plymouth. The freshmen team is now 6-5 on the year and will host Wawasee at home onĀ Thursday, January 22.
