arrestsOn Friday, February 20th at 10:54 A.M. Plymouth Police Officer John Weir initiated a traffic stop at US 30 and Pioneer on a black Chevy for speeding. Officer Weir proceeded to walk his K-9 partner, Jax around the vehicle where he indicated a positive hit for the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. The driver, 21 year old Andrew Thomas of Fort Wayne was asked if there was anything in the vehicle the officer should know about.  Thomas told him “yes.”  Officer Weir then asked him to step out of the vehicle. Thomas was taken into custody for possession of marijuana and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held on a $1,505 bond.

Later Friday evening at 9:23 P.M. Officer Bridget Hite responded to 1535 North Michigan Street, lot 209 for a verbal dispute. Contact was made with 28 year old Michael A. Tinman of Plymouth who was advised by officers that he was not permitted back at the residence. After a short time later Mr. Tinman returned and officers located him trying to leave.   He was taken into custody for trespass, transported to the County Jail and held on a $755 bond. Tinman was later released on Sunday with no judicial review and was issued a Marshall Superior Court II date of March 10th.
