JackJordanHouse#17CandidacyPictureBREMEN – Republican Jack Jordan launched his campaign for the Indiana House of Representative Seat, District #17 being vacated by Tim Harman at the Bremen Fireman’s Festival Parade.  He was surrounded by a crowd of energetic supporters.  “Dr. Al” Molebash was heard to say “This is a Blast!” and Golden Girl Mrs. Phyllis Waltz riding on the back of a pink convertible said, “campaigning for you is fun, where are we going next?”.

Jack describes his political philosophy as a “Constitutional Conservative which is built on a firm foundation of a solid Christian World View.”

When asked why he is running for the Indiana House Seat representing Marshall and north Fulton counties, Jack reveals two primary reasons:

#1 – I truly believe that every individual has unique and amazing God-given potential.  Unfortunately, over time, even with its “good intentions” an expanding government limits an individual’s freedom to pursue their dreams.  I want to work with other conservatives to limit the government’s detrimental impact on our daily lives.

#2 – I have been extremely blessed to have extensive and significant “real-life” experiences.  I have a proven track record of serving, leading and positively impacting organizations.  I plan to be a good steward of these experiences and talents by truly making a positive impact on the lives of those living in Marshall and Fulton Counties…as well as the State of Indiana.

Jack Jordan relates that he is the 7th generation of his family to call Marshall County his home.  His wife, Hope is a health care professional who passionately invests 100% of her professional career to serving our Country’s Heroes, our Veteran’s health care needs.  Jack has two children.  His daughter recently graduated from college and is beginning her teaching career.  His son is studying engineering at Purdue University.

Jack Jordan’s primary job is doing construction and rehabbing houses with another local man.  In his non construction work hours, he helps local businesses and serves several non-for profit organizations.  He also served on the Bremen School Board for 8 years, and was president for most of that time.  For his entire adult life, Jack has been involved with missions.  Most recently his travels have taken him to Romania and India working with orphans, pastors and church plants.

Finally, Jack is excited about an opportunity to represent Marshall and Fulton counties since “‘Enough is Enough’ of big government holding back family and friends from realizing their unique and amazing God-given potential.”
