blood drive logoPlymouth Mayor Mark Senter will host his first Blood Drive of the summer season at the Farmer’s Market this Saturday, May 23th.

The South Bend Medical Foundation will bring an air-conditioned mobile lab for folks that want to donate.  The Blood Drive is scheduled to be open from 8 a.m. till 12 noon.

Participants are urged to eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of fluids before donating.

Please remember that all blood collected in Marshall County stays here and each unit can save up to 3 lives!

All donors will have their name entered in a drawing for the car giveaway!!! You could win a new car just in time for summer.  Donate blood in May and you could be driving a new ride to the beach in June. The South Bend Medical Foundation is raffling off a different car in both May and June and donating every 56 days gives you the best chance to win! Or, quadruple your chances by becoming a platelet donor. Platelet donors can donate every 2 weeks!

Walk-ins are welcomed or you can call Laura Mann, the Mayor’s assistant at 936-6717 to set up an appointment.
