MugShot_Christopher HuntOn Sunday, November 29th, about one o’clock in the morning, the Marshall County Central Dispatch Center 911 received a call for a possible impaired or sleeping driver that was traveling at a high rate of speed.

An officer with the Marshall County Police Department located the vehicle traveling north on U.S. 31 and after observing traffic infractions being committed, a traffic stop was conducted.

The driver, 18 year old Christopher G. Hunt of Granger was found to be under the influence of controlled substance and in possession of marijuana. He was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail for Operating While Intoxicated Controlled Substance (C-Misdemeanor) and Possession of Marijuana (A-Misdemeanor).

They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
