Habitat for Humanity logoHabitat for Humanity of Marshall County has set a ground breaking ceremony for the 17th family home to be built in Marshall County. The site is at 910 N. Main St. Bourbon.
The ceremony will be Sunday, May 31st at 2 p.m. and the Reverend Tom Harman, will preside.  Rev. Harman is the senior pastor of the Atwood Christ Fellowship. He is the father of Tim and Joel Harmon, owners of Harmony Marketing, who are the major sponsors of this home.

Volunteers have started the construction much of which will be done on weekdays.  United Methodist cluster churches of the Bourbon area are providing a number of the volunteers for this home.
The home is being constructed for the Mellone Mendoza family of Bremen who has completed the pre-construction requirements to qualify for a Habitat home.
The public is invited to attend the ceremony.
