Habitat_Brush with KindnessThe Habitat for Humanity of Marshall County is currently accepting applications for its “A Brush with Kindness” program.  This program is specific in offering services to low-income homeowners in need of minor home repairs, yard work, exterior painting and routine homeowner repairs within Marshall County.

Volunteers from across Marshall County communities will work together on the selected homes in the spring between the months of April and May.   Volunteers will be working to improve the exterior of the homes using donated materials whenever possible.

Habitat’s “A Brush with Kindness” is part of Humanity International initiative to give us a greater opportunity to help more families in need, as well as have an impact on the communities we serve.  Habitat for Humanity International is an ecumenical Christian ministry that welcomes to its work all people dedicated to the cause of decent affordable shelter.

We will be accepting applications now through April 10th.  All applicants must meet the qualifications of homeownership and not be over the income limits.  For more information about how you can get involved with Habitat for Humanity to volunteer or to apply please contact Crystal Benson at CBenson@woodforest.com  or 574-935-5767 and leave a message.
