National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory that will go into effect beginning at noon on Saturday until 9 pm.
A Heat Advisory means that a period of hot temperatures is expected. Temperatures will rise into the 90’s Saturday. The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity will combine to create a situation in which heat illnesses such as heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
If you plan on being outside tomorrow, remember to drink plenty of water, take frequent breaks in shaded or air conditioned environments, use sunscreen and wear light weight and loose fitting clothing.
Be sure to check on elderly relatives and neighbors.
Provide outdoor pets and other animals with plenty of fresh water and shade.
