The LaPorte District of the Indiana Department of Transportation is looking for Winter Operations personnel for the Plymouth Sub-district. These positions will work from November 1st until March 31st 2016.
Snow and ice removal are the primary duties of this position. A Commercial Drivers License, CDL is a requirement of this position.
There are two options to choose from, full time 37.5 hours a week plus snow event at $15 per hour or only the snow events at $20 per hour with a commitment to coming in when required. These are seasonal positions with no benefits.
Other requirements for either position are a high school diploma or equivalent, submit to and pass a drug test and you must be able to lift 50 pounds.
