During the Plymouth vs Warsaw Boys Basketball game last Tuesday two seniors at Plymouth High School were honored as the Scholar Athletes of the Month.
The female scholar athlete for the month of January is Alexandria Wright, daughter of John and Stephanie Wright. Allie is currently 39th in her class. Allie is on the basketball team, played on the soccer team last fall and will run track this spring. Allie is a member of the National Honor Society, Key Club, Student Council and AFS. Her future plans are to attend IUPUI to run track.
The male scholar athlete for the month of January is Jacob LaFree, son of John and Shelly LaFree. Jacob is 50th in his class. He is a member of the PHS Wrestling team, and was on the football team. Jacob is a member of the Varsity Club and a two time representative of PHS at the IHSAA Athlete Leadership Conference. LaFree’s future plans are to attend the University of Indianapolis to study Telecommunications and play football.
