sheriff_starThe Marshall County Sheriff’s Department released their jail report for June. Taking a look at the Top Ten offenses for being booked into the county jail last month included: number 10 Violation of Home Detention, number 9 Court Ordered Hearings, 8 Theft, 7 Domestic Battery and 6th Probation Violations. Rounding out the top ten were; 5 Marijuana, 4 Operator never Licensed, 3 Failure to Appear, 2 Driving While Suspended and the number one reason in June Operating While Intoxicated. There were a total of 147 individuals booked into the Marshall County Jail in June. Officers with the Sheriff’s Department booked a total of 61 while Plymouth officers booked in 37. Argos, Bourbon, Bremen and Indiana State police booked in the remainder along with court commitments. County officers investigated 27 accidents in June, 23 were property damage and 4 involved a personal injury. Officer took a total of 73 case reports and issued 150 citations.
