Students who do not live within the Plymouth Community School Corporation (PCSC) boundaries can now attend the Plymouth Community School Corporation without paying tuition. PCSC will host their annual Kindergarten Round-up on February 26, at all Plymouth Elementary Schools.
Parents of children who live within PCSC boundaries, should attend their specific elementary school district’s round-up. Please contact any of our elementary schools or the transportation department at 574-936-3169 if you are not sure which school’s boundary you are a part of. Non-resident parents may attend Kindergarten Round-up at any of the four elementary schools; however, the child may be placed at another Plymouth Elementary School to balance class sizes. Parents interested in having their student(s) attend Washington Discovery Academy need to attend the Kindergarten Round-up at Washington Discovery Academy.
Sessions will be offered on February 26th at 1:30 pm and 6:00 p.m. at each building. Families need only attend one session. In order to be eligible for Kindergarten Round-up this year, your child needs to be 5 years old on or before August 1, 2015. Please bring an original copy of your child’s birth certificate, immunization records, and a social security card. The schools will make copies of these items.
For Spanish speaking families, interpreters will be available. During the hour-long round-up, parents will meet with administrators and fill out registration forms; children will meet with kindergarten teachers for screening.
