Kolar Construction of Argos was awarded the quote for the renovation work in the Marshall County 9-1-1 Dispatch Center during last week’s Commissioner’s meeting.
Sheriff Matt Hassel and Gary Masterson from the county’s Buildings and Grounds Department reviewed the two quotes and recommended the low quote of Kolar.
The project will place a drop ceiling with insulation in the Dispatch Center in an attempt to help control the temperature and sound issues that have been in place since the facility opened 7 or 8 years ago.
A second quote from S & S Sprinklers for $2,500 was accepted to replace the sprinkler system to the new drop ceiling.
