Garner_KurtKurt Garner, founder and president of Wythougan Valley Preservation, a county-wide non-profit in Marshall County and co-founder and president of Indiana’s Historic Michigan Road Byway Association will kick-off the 2015 Brown Bag Lunch Series at the Marshall County Museum with a presentation entitled, “History of Argos Izaak Walton League & WPA in Marshall County” on Friday, March 13 from 12-1 at the Museum’s Community Center.

Izaak Walton LeagueHave you ever wondered about the history of the exceptional stone masonry in the Argos area, or are you interested in what was happening in Marshall County during the Conservation Movement in the early 1900s?  Discover the fascinating history of other Marshall County WPA projects including Centennial Park, Centennial Gym, Lincoln High School and Magnetic Park in Plymouth, as well as improvements on the Bourbon School and Bourbon Library.
