PLYMOUTH, IN – The Lady Charger volleyball team lost to Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) Conference rivals, Muskegon Community College, 11-25, 20-25, and 10-25, dropping their record to 9-12.
Freshmen Sophia Smith, Samantha Brenneman, Victoria Bush, and Jill Brown each had three kills apiece for Ancilla. Jackie Friel of Mendon, MI, dished out eight assists and Maddie Price from Elkhart, IN, dished out five. Gas City, IN native Natalee Walters had one ace and nine digs for the Chargers and Brenneman led the team in blocks for the night with three.
“The highlight for tonight, was that we did not miss a serve all night,” said Coach Lana Singleton.
The Chargers will travel to South Suburban College on Saturday for the SSC Dig Pink Tourney. The team will return home on Thursday, September 8th, to take on Lake Michigan College. Game time is set for 6:30p.m.
