In the 2nd round of conference, Goshen snagged a win from Plymouth on Wednesday night. Plymouth outhit Goshen 5-4 but Goshen crossed the plate 6 times while Plymouth was held scoreless. Zoe Keilman pitched a solid game striking out 7 and gave up just 4 hits. Atkinson pitched well for Goshen, striking out 10 on the night to get the shut out. Bailey Hatfield had 2 hits on the night. 

Tomorrow Plymouth continues with their busy conference week, hosting the rescheduled Concord game at 5:00pm in Centennial Park.
The 2nd JV contest between Plymouth and Goshen was just as tight as the first. Going into the seventh inning, Plymouth was down 3-8. Plymouth posted 5 runs in the top of the seventh to tie it, but it wasn’t enough to overcome errors earlier in the game. Goshen ended up winning tonight 9-8. Offensively, Plymouth put up 9 hits and got walked or hit by a pitch 7 times. Plymouth was led by Jailyn Fox, going 3 for 5, Anna Bockman went 2 for 5, while Shayla Noble, Audrey Himes, and Kirsten Nault each added hits for Plymouth. Jailyn Fox took the loss for Plymouth in the circle. She struck out 6, walked 3, and allowed 4 hits.
The Plymouth JV Softball team will be back in action tomorrow, May 14, against Concord at home.
