On Tuesday, December 15th at approximately 12:30 in the afternoon, LaPaz Police initiated a traffic stop on a Dodge Durango for an equipment violation. The driver, Ismael Velazquez-Ramirez was found to be unlicensed and adjudged a habitual traffic violator for life. He was incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail with a $1,500 bond.
