brown-bag-lunch-series-freeThere has been a schedule change with the Brown Bag Lunch Series at the Marshall County Museum.   This Friday, March 13, kicks-off the series from 12-1 at the Museum.

This month’s Brown Bag Lunch will feature a 35-minute documentary, “The Gunness Mystery,” detailing the life of Belle Gunness, one of the most prolific female serial Killers in history!

Gunness Mystery
Gunness emigrated from Norway to Chicago in the late 1800s and later moved to La Porte, where she “reached out” to men across the Midwest through a series of want ads promising them a “bright future” as a partner in her farming business.  They were told to sell their belongings, bring cash and not tell anyone where they were going.  Those answering the ad were never seen again!

Bring your lunch and a friend to the Museum for this intriguing piece of Indiana history!  Enjoy the documentary and discussion after the story at the Community Room in the Marshall County Room at the Marshall County Museum, 123 North Michigan Street in downtown Plymouth!
