On Friday May 29 at 5:26 a.m. the Bremen Police Department received a call from a citizen stating that they had heard gunshots at Sunnyside Park in Bremen.
At 5:27 a.m. the Bremen Police Department received a call from a male subject stating the he had been shot in the leg and was at Sunnyside Park. Bremen Police and Tri-County EMS responded to the scene and the male caller was transported to Community Hospital of Bremen with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg. After a brief investigation it was determined that the gunshot wound was self-inflected. No charges were filed in this case.
