winter-weather-advisoryA Winter Weather Advisory will go into effect at noon today lasting until 7 o’clock tonight.

The National Weather Service in northern Indiana has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow.  Marshall County can expect snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches with locally higher amounts possible.  Snow may be briefly heavy at times with reduced visibilities.

Untreated roads will become slippery making travel hazardous.   The predicted heavy snow will reduced visibilities at times and create additional driving challenges.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities…and use caution while driving.
