Marshall County Commissioner Kevin Overmyer has announced the closure of Marshall County. Due to dangerous weather conditions the commissioners have closed the county. Overmyer said, “There are so many accidents that the Sheriff’s Department has had to call in extra officers. It’s extremely dangerous and responding agencies are unable to keep up.”
The county snowplow drivers were pulled off at noon until the wind dies down because they are unable to keep up with the blizzard conditions from the blowing snow.
He advises everyone to stay home until the weather conditions improve.
