Marshall County Tourism would like to congratulate The Wooden Peel in Bremen for being voted BEST PIZZA in MARSHALL COUNTY! After three rounds of voting in Marshall County, they claimed the title, and will moving forward the Northern Indiana Pizza Wars round!
Based on over 83,000 votes cast region wide, Northern Indiana has found the best Pizza in each of the seven counties in Northern Indiana. Over the past few weeks, Northern Indiana residents and visitors have been voting in each county‘s Pizza Wars to find the best Pizza in that county. The seven winners, plus one wild card, will be competing to find the best Pizza in Northern Indiana!
The voting for the first round of regional competition will begin this Friday June 12, and will be hosted on the regional website NorthernIndianaGetaways.com/pizzawars. The first round runs for ten days. Following the end of the first round, the next two rounds will run back to back. The second round will run from Monday June 22 through Thursday 25 and the final round will run from June 26- 29. On June 29, all will know who has been voted the best Pizza in Northern Indiana.
Let customers’ voices be heard! They can log in daily to vote to make sure their favorite restaurant gets the credit it deserves. Voters can keep checking the website and Visit Northern Indiana social media pages for a chance to win prizes through mini contests held throughout the voting process. Voters are encouraged to sign in and vote each round for a chance to win the grand prize of a $25 gift certificate to each of the eight final restaurants participating in the regional bracket. Don’t forget, voters can vote once per day.
The eight winning restaurants that will be competing for title of Northern Indiana’s best pizza are: Rulli’s from Elkhart, Giannetto’s Pizza and Pasta from St. Joe, Duneland Pizza from Porter, Albano’s Villa from LaPorte, The Wooden Peel from Marshall, Iannarelli’s from LaGrange, Café at the Bowling Alley from Kosciusko and Iechy Da Brewing Co. from Elkhart is our wild card. These restaurants will be competing head to head until there is only one best Pizza in Northern Indiana!
