Nelson Chipman Jr 12-9-13Marshall County Prosecuting Attorney Nelson Chipman announced Friday the ranking of offices in their child support collection efforts throughout Indiana.  “I am very pleased to announce that Marshall County ranked number one throughout the state in cost effectiveness.  For every dollar this office spends related to child support collection, we were able to collect $31.49,” Chipman stated.

“In establishing support orders, we were number two in the state with a performance percentage level of 97.33% with 2152 cases opened by court order out of 2211 Title IV-D cases,” Chipman added.

Other categories of significance ranked Marshall County number 20 out of 92 counties in the state for collection on support arrearage; number 22 out of 92 counties in establishing paternity; and number 33 out of 92 counties for the collection of current support.

“The entire credit goes to the Child Support Division in our office consisting of Administrator Sue Butzer; Cindy Pucciarelli and Molly Richey, case managers; Shannon Buckland, accounting; and Sally Skodinski, Deputy Prosecutor.  The citizens of Marshall County can be very proud of the hard work and effort expended by these staff members.  I certainly am.”
