BreakingNews(1)Just before 5 on Friday morning the Marshall County Commissioners raised the county’s travel advisory from the “Advisory” level up to a “Watch” level.

The “Watch” Level Travel Advisory that has been implemented by the Marshall County Commissioners means that conditions are threatening to the safety of the public. During a “Watch” level travel advisory, only essential travel, such as to and from work or in emergency situations, is recommended.

Emergency action plans should be implemented by businesses, schools, government agencies and other organizations.

County roads are drifted badly in certain areas. County highway personnel are out working on opening the roads. The commissioners warn drivers not to attempt driving down roads that have deep snow drifts. Vehicles that become stuck hinder the plowing operation.
