property_taxAccording to Marshall County Treasurer Penny Lukenbill, the 2014 payable 2015 tax bills will be mailed this week.  The first installment is due Monday, May 11, with the second installment due Tuesday, November 10.  Taxpayers have several payment options available in addition to paying by mail.    All Teacher Credit Union branches and IAB Financial Bank in Bourbon will collect payments beginning two weeks prior to the due date; however, Lake City Bank will no longer accept payments.  Taxpayers can also pay by debit or credit card in person at the Treasurer’s office, online at www.co.marshall.in.us or by phone at 1-866-480-8552; however these payments are subject to a fee based on the total amount being paid.   A payment drop box is available at the south end of the County Building.   When paying by mail, taxpayers should enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope to receive a receipt.
