Plymouth Fire DepartmentPlymouth Fire Chief Rod Miller said, “May was a busy month.  We had 206 calls.”  There were 2016 alarm situations with 163 being EMS incident calls and 14 medical assists.

14 times EMS and or fire were dispatches and cancelled en route, 4 false alarm calls, 3 electrical wiring fire calls, 3 natural vegetation calls, 2 structure fires and 1 unintentional system operation, 1 person in distress and 1 good intent call.

Taking a look at the Plymouth Fire Department incident calls by district we see 143 in Plymouth, 22 in West Township, 22 in Center Township, and 1 each in LaPaz and Polk Township.  Paramedic assists included 8 for Walkerton, 6 for LaPaz, 2 for Culver and 1 for Argos.

Plymouth EMS and firefighters had a total of 346.5 hours of training in May.
