Crash_Plymouth-Goshen_sceneOn Wednesday, September 2nd at 11:27 a.m. the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to a two vehicle personal injury accident on Plymouth Goshen Trail just east of Lilac Road.

Crash_Plymouth-Goshen_firetruckUpon arrival officers learned that Vehicle a 2006 Ford FedEx truck was traveling north east on Plymouth Goshen Trail and a 2003 Yamaha R6 was traveling south west on Plymouth Goshen Trail. As the FedEx truck and motorcycle approached one another the FedEx truck failed to yield the right of way and tried turning to the north and into the driveway of 11,854 Plymouth Goshen Trail. In doing so the FedEx truck turned directly in front of the path of the motorcycle which crashed into the rear passenger side of the FedEx truck.

Crash_Plymouth-Goshen_motorcycleThe driver of the FedEx truck, 21year old Nicholas Simpson of La Crosse was not injured in the incident. The driver of the motorcycle, 25year old Brandon P. Moyer of Plymouth flown by helicopter to a South Bend trauma center for medical treatment with injuries to his leg.
