Winter_Storm_WatchThe National Weather Service of northern Indiana has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Marshall, Starke, LaPorte, Fulton and Pulaski counties including the cities of Plymouth, Culver, Bremen, Knox, North Judson and Rochester.

This Winter Storm Watch is in effect from Monday evening through Tuesday morning. Hazardous weather conditions include having snow move into the area Monday afternoon and continuing overnight. Snowfall amounts of 3 to 6 inches are likely with between 5 to 8 inches possible. The National Weather Service is uncertain where the heavier snowfall will be.

Temperatures will be in the single digits and teens during this Winter Storm Watch.

There is a possibility of snowfall rates of up to an inch per hour Monday night and roads will become snow covered, slick and hazardous which will make travel difficult.

A Winter Strom Watch means there is a potential for significant snow, sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
