ISP_GlazeGraduates of the 74th Indiana State Police Academy recently reported to their newly assigned districts.  The Bremen Post welcomed their newest trooper, Kyle Glaze.

This marks the beginning of his three months of field training with veteran officers and one year probationary period before attaining permanent status as a trooper.

While in the academy, Glaze received approximately 929 hours of training in law enforcement techniques including criminal law, vehicle operations training, psychology, and “Survival Spanish.” He also developed skills in criminal investigation, vehicle crash investigation, and impaired driver prevention and detection.

Glaze is originally from the Indianapolis area but most recently lived in Columbia City.  Glaze is a graduate of Columbia City High School and later attended Ball State University majoring in criminal justice studies and entrepreneurship before leaving for the state police academy.

Glaze will be assigned primary patrol duties in St. Joseph County after he completes his field training program at Bremen.
