Niles_HauntedThe Niles Scream Park was voted the number one haunted attraction in the nation by fans of the Coaster Nation publications. One hundred and twenty haunts around the country were nominated by fans. Then, after visiting attractions throughout the month of October, they could vote for their favorite in the last week of the month.

After more than 40,000 votes were tallied, the Niles Scream Park in Niles, received the most votes and was the winner of Coaster Nation’s 2015 Top Haunt.

Halloween has already passed, but there is one more opportunity to decide for yourself how scary the Niles Scream Park is. The Park is hosting its final event “Black Out” on Saturday, November 7 from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. All the lights are removed from the interior attractions and patrons try to find their way through with glow sticks. The motto for the event is “One group. One glow stick. Good luck!”

Prices on individual attractions start at $7 and a combination ticket for all four attractions is available for $25. Tickets can be purchased online at haunted.org or at the door.

Last year the Niles Haunted House raised over $100,000.00 for more than 65 area children’s organizations, civic groups and other charities. In the past 19 years they have donated over 1.47 million dollars. Proceeds have benefitted local school and service organizations including groups such as the Make a Wish Foundation, Boy Scouts, the Lakeshore High School Stage Crew, Positively Dance and the Niles Drama Club. The funds also have been used for local college scholarships that were established many years ago.
