The North Central Area Vocational Cooperative has a number of programs available to help high school students not only get a job, but to also get the job of their dreams!

Students graduating from high school today will be shaping the economic destiny of our country. These graduates will be entering an increasingly complex and globally competitive workplace environment. That is why it is so important for today’s young adults to leave high school with technical skills and positive workplace attitudes. They need to experience their future careers while still in high school. In the programs offered by the North Central Area Vocation Cooperative promote lifelong learning and the value of education. Their students leave high school well-prepared for their futures.

Some vocational classes are offered at each of the member high schoolswhile other courses are offered for all students in the cooperative at various locations.

 

An Open House schedule to allow students and parents to see firsthand what the various programs have to offer will be conducted at various locations and time on January 21st and February 4th.

Automotive Services Technology at the SCILL Center in Knox on January 21st from 8 to 9 a.m. or on February 4th from 5:30 to 6:30 CT.

Construction Technology-Building Trades in Culver, John Glenn and Plymouth on January 21st from 8 to 9 or February 4th from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Cosmetology in Knox on the 21st from 8 to 9 or February 4th from 6:30 to 7:30 CT.

Early Childhood Education at Kaleidoscope in Plymouth from 9 to 10 on the 21st.

Graphics Imaging Technology at the Knox High School on January 21st from 8 to 9 or on February 4th from 6:30 to 7:30 CT.

Health Sciences Education in the Knox High School from 8 to 9 CT on January 21st or at Plymouth High School on February 4th from 6:30 to 7:30.

Law Enforcement/Criminal Justice at Ancilla College on January 21st from 8 to 9 or February 4th from 6:30 to 7:30.

Microsoft Certified IT Professional at Plymouth High School on February 4th from 6:30 to 7:30.

Precision Machining at the Plymouth Service Center on the 21st from 8 to 9 or February 4th from 6:30 to 7:30.

Radio and TV Broadcasting at Plymouth High School on February 4th from 6:30 to 7:30.

Welding Technology at the Knox Middle School on January 21st from 9 to 10 or February 4th from 6:30 to 7:30 CT.
