Driving Without a license

On Monday, January 12th at 9:19 P.M. Plymouth Police Officer Stuart Krynock conducted a traffic stop in the area of Lincoln Highway west of Oak  Drive.   28 year old Jose I. Cazares of Plymouth was discovered operating a vehicle without a license. He was taken into custody and held at the Marshall County Jail and booked on a $505 cash bond.   He was released later that night after posting bond. Cazares was issued a Marshall County Superior Court II date set for February 10th.

On Tuesday, January 13th at 8:00 P.M. Plymouth Police Officer Ben McIntyre observed a passenger car in the 700 block of North Plum Street without it’s headlight on. A traffic stop was initiated and the driver, 46 year old Jorge Z. Obando of Plymouth was found to be operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license.  He was taken into custody and lodged at the Marshall County Jail and held on a $255 cash bond.

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
